Make sure there is ample space for all of the band equipment and enough power supply. The band will also want to know about parking arrangements and what the set up will be for loading and unloading all of their equipment.

Most importantly, find out if the venue that hosts your reception has a license for live music. That is something you definitely want to know in advance because if they do not have a license, then you won’t be able to hire a live band.
