Thousands of books are available to the general public today supporting the diet method of weight loss where people are reducing caloric intake in an effort to decrease weight. The main problem is many people aren't dieticians and inadvertently starve their body of essential vitamins and minerals during this weight loss process. This reduction of nutrients in fact encourages the body to store fats and calories having the opposite intended effect.
